Institute Teachers Always Know What to Say.. :)

Today in the Institute building, I made a new friend. She and I were in an Institute Teachers office looking at wedding announcements that he had there. She was telling me that looking at them made her sad. I of course agreed. We said something to this teacher and this is what he told us.

Happiness is like a butterfly: the more you chase it, the more it will elude you. But if you turn your attention to other things, it will come and sit softly on your shoulder.

Thank You Brother Barlow. Thank You. :)

Books....

So. My weekly book reports have gone to the pits because school takes up time. And all of the extra time goes to work... hahaha. :) BUT. I have read these books for my Intro to Literature class.

I have enjoyed them all. I would talk about each individually. but.. that would take so long. So i won't. :) ENJOY! :)

I first found this song and music video through another friends facebook. It is amazing. I hope that one day, I will have someone that cares that much for me. :)

It's funny....

It's funny.... One day you are swimming with your best friend, and the next day you are in school wishing that it was summer again..
It's funny.... At one moment you are as mad about a situation than you ever had been, but then you realize that things could be worse..
It's funny.... Things could be worse in life..
It's funny.... How we base our happiness on if things go right in our life..
It's funny.... How easy it is to forget the gospel, when that's the only thing you should remember..
It's funny.... How much one person can make a difference in life. And even more how much two people can, or three..
It's funny.... How scary it is to ask someone out because of the fear of rejection..
It's funny.... We can say one thing, when we feel the complete opposite..
It's funny.... How things change..

Food For Thought. :)

Girls are like apples on trees. The best ones are at the top of the tree. The boys don't want to reach for the good ones because they are afraid of falling and getting hurt. Instead, they just get the rotten apples from the ground that aren't as good, but easy. So the apples at the top think something is wrong with them, when in reality, they're amazing. They just have to wait for the right boy to come along, the one who's brave enough to climb all the way to the top of the tree.

Just thought you'd like this thought. :)
