I'd like to think that I can take some pretty decent pictures. Compared to one of my Best Friends, This is a lie. But these are some pictures that I am actually quite proud of. :)

Oh, Pamela! :)(the nickname for sister toone) How much I enjoyed her lesson! :) She is a member of my YSA Relief Society Presidency. And she is AWESOME! :) I think that Relief Society is what has kept me going in the singles ward. But anyway. She started off her lesson talking about how there are over 75000 different types of Apples. They all have a general same purpose, but they are all different in their own special way. :) She related these apples to testimonies, that we grow from little seeds, all the way until we are shared to others in a nice, warm apple pie. :)

And then she said this quote. I think that the next time I think about life and how hard it is, i'm going to remember "Life is hard, But we can do hard things!" Because we can, and if there ever is a moment where you feel like you cant, the Lord will help you until you can. :)

You Get What You Pay For...

Well if thats true, then I totally wanna work some stuff around. :)

I went and visited an old Seminary teacher yesterday. I just wanted to talk to him for a few minutes. Ask his opinion on some things that I'd received opinion from many other people on. I don't know why many times in my life that I feel that I need a thousand opinions before I can make a decision. It's a fault of mine apparently.

This seminary teacher is really funny and sarcastic, he kindof has a personality like me. :) So when I told him I wanted to talk to him he said "Remember, You get what you pay for, and it's free.. so." I laughed and asked his opinion. And I am SO glad that I went and talked to him. Although I'd received many words of advice before, something that he said made it that much different. Maybe it was the situation that I was in, maybe it's because I went there to talk to him for one reason. But either way, as I told him, If i get what I pay for, then I owe him about a couple grand! :)

How I wish I got what I paid for in college!~~ man.. I get really frustrated sitting through class that I don't fee like I learn anything in. Isn't that the worst??

Well.. at least sometimes I get more than what I pay for. Thank You all old and new friends that gave me well more than what i deserved! :)

Back to Lack of Sleep

So I started college again on January 3,2011. I though I was relieved at first because then I was back into the swing of things, after two weeks, I am also exhausted. Those 7:30 classes are killing me!

Anyway, So I am taking English 1010 (blah) Social Work 2100 ( :] ) Earthquakes and Volcanoes (blah) and TBE 1700 (blah). So as you can see, for the most part I am not having the best class. But here are the pluses, My teacher in english is crazy, which makes it more enjoyable. Although I do not enjoy writing essays, his topics are more interesting, such as right now our topic is a moment in our life that made us who we were today. Awesome huh? .. Plus. I learned how to write like this in like 4th grade :p Now Social Work, i just enjoy those classes. :) Earthquakes and Volcanoes i have with My brother and a girl that lives by me :) haha so we make sarcastic comments which makes it better. :) And in TBE i have made a friend in which I correct the teacher often to.

So there is my fill in for the week. My classes are going fine, I am learning enough. :) and I may have an idea of where I am going to go towards in my career. .. just maybe. :)

This is a quote that i heard recently from my brother. It is one that he says he has known his whole life. And the more I thought about this quote, the more I liked it.

Although the fact that I'm blogging doesn't show that I am actually learning from this quote, but actually does quite the opposite, it shows that I know exactly how to waste my time. But I think the more we embrace our time, the more we enjoy it.

For example, today at work I... how would you put it... worked my butt off. I didn't sit down until like 5:05, and I got there at like 2:30. CRAZY! But you know what, I really enjoyed it? Like I was exhausted, but it was more entertaining then just sitting there doing nothing.

So now I know how important it is, not to waste time. :)

Aching Shoulder

I have had two legit jobs in my life. Both of wich i have a love hate relationship with. But it wasn't until today that i TRULEY understood this saying from my father. There is no such thing as a job that you will love everyday, all day! It's impossible. There is always going to be someone that makes you mad, something that you have to do, an employee partner that makes you mad, or a part of the management that you will always hate! You may be wondering how my title to this post is relevant to it at all. Well, i will tell you. Because it is indeed relevant! :)

I work in the Theory Lab at a music academy in Ogden and Clearfield. My job work is pretty light, so the 'head honcho's' always seem to give me their jobs to do, because I have time to do them. So for most of my time at work on Thursday i was cutting down music so that it would fit in a page protector for the theory books. It was on of those paper cutters that you have to press down pretty far before the blade will even begin to cut the paper. So i left work, fine. I went home to my family that was playing the wii. They were seeing what their wii sports age is. so they encouraged me to try is as well(which by the way, i'm 42 hahahahahaha). It involved returning tennis balls, hitting home runs, and knocking down all the pins in bowling. It takes three or four minutes to finish this. I got tired quickly, so i went to bed after we had all taken a turn. But to my dismay, when i woke up the next morning my shoulder killed. I assumed that it was from the wii and went on with my day. I got ready for work in clearfield and went. Again i had some paper cutting assignments And after i had cut my first piece of paper, my muscle instantly knew what had made it sore. It was that darn cutting machine. Although it hurt my shoulder more, i finished all that i could.

To top it all off,

we all received a Bravo shirt to wear at work from now on. Sigh. Flip. really?? i've been able to wear what i want and i have fully accepted that. but i guess i can go with the flow right.

It really isn't too bad. It could be worse. I could work at footlocker and look like i'm in prison or something right? ;)

So today, well, yesterday, that very day is when i realized. That there is always going to be a part of your job that will give you... an aching shoulder.

If at first you don't succeed, Try, Try again.

For the longest time i've felt that new years resolutions were pointless. We all make them and NONE Of us ever keep them. At first I thought this post would be unique until i read my besties blog.. she was a step ahead of me! I KNEW i shoulda wrote this yesterday... O well. But then I realized that we all fail, because we won't get back up when we fall. We all we fail at least once, the real test is to keep trying.

So these are my resolutions for the year. So far... i have pretty much failed. But that's okay! I'm still going to try! From now on! :) I will try my hardest!

For those of you that know me well, this is going to be a difficult task! I'm TERRIBLE at these! But i'm going to try!
