Well this Post in just Random :)

Hello Friends.
I am bored so i thought i would tell you the events of the past few days. June 19 was my sister sandee's birthday! Our parents were both out of town and so we had fun just on our own. First off was breakfast at mimi's. I'm usually a Chicken Fried Steak kinda gal, but i was feeling stuff french toast, and after that first bite, i knew i had made the right decision. :) The next thing we did was went and saw How to Train Your Dragon. and can i just say, how freaking cute is that movie???!? like usually you leave a movie and say, ya, that was pretty good, and this movie was HOLY FREAKING COW I LOVED THAT MOVIE :) It is for sure going to be on my dvd shelf when it comes out. Afterwards we went to like 3, that's right THREE, craft store to buy stuff for, as Sandee likes to call them, Paper Crafts! ;) Then for dinner i convinced Sandee that we should go to Chipotle. Was it the wrong thing to do on her birthday.... Probably, but i must say it was very good :) And then we went on an adventure, we drove up to the Bountiful Temple. :) that was the first time i had ever been that close to it. Sure, i can see it from my house, but the detail on that temple is amazing! Then sandee wanted to go buy a gift card for my dad at a Trailer store. To our dismay, it was closed. So we went to the Ogden Temple. And by the way, totally has my favorite landscaping of all the temples i have been to. :) That Mike Kyes does a really good job! Then we went home and did paper crafts! That was the events of that day!

So i have been thinking a lot about Girl's Camp Lately. :) i'm getting so excited! and then, i get utterly sad!..... I can't believe that i only have 2 more months in young women's. That is CRAZY! We had a bbq for young women's, saying goodbye to a couple leaders and to all the seniors. We got books and letters from each young women, and i went home and read that and what everyone said meant SOOOO much to me!... makes it even harder to think about leaving. But there is one thing i will remember, it is ALWAYS worth it!!!! :)

Before i go i thought that i should tell you all that i really, REALLY like extra sharp cheese!! I discovered this after my parents came home from St. George... mmmmmmmmm :)

The Events occuring on June 17, 2010

So, yesterday went from really great to really bad (in the basketball world that is).
I take a summer institute class that is just for graduated seniors. It is one of the best classes i have ever attended. Usually the class is taught by Brother Birch. But he was on a daddy daughter date yesterday, so Brother Carver taught. It made me really wish that i had had him as a teacher. He has such great analogies and is such a good story teller. Our lesson was on the purpose of life and the agency of man. he started the lesson by asking what was the purpose of life. And we came to the decision that the purpose of life is happiness. Which i thought was pretty cool. And it made me think of the Declaration of Independence, and how it says that man has the right and liberty to the pursuit of happiness. So even the Declaration of Independence says that we should look for what makes us happy. And our church is one of the only ones that has A "Plan of HAPPINESS". I felt pretty clever for making this conneciton. Then he talked about agency. We got on the topic of the difference between Christ's plan and Satan's plan. Our goal is to be LIKE God, not to come back to God. So taht is why Christ's plan was chosen, because in order for us to become like God, we need the agency to do it. I thought that was pretty cool. I also liked that he said we should never call him Lucifer, because lucifer is a Good name meaning (the shining one), and he was not Good. I really enjoyed this Lesson.

Now continuing on to the not so good part of the day. The lakers (who should burn) won the NBA Finals. :( this was an utter disappointment, especially seeing that i love the celtics, mostly because i think Keving Garnett is Hilarious! :)

But to top of my day i fell asleep watching Hercules. :) Who put the glad in gladiator!?!? :) HERCULES!
