Brain Pains..

Yesterday I spent time with my sister and her friend. :) We went to Chili's and then we went back to their apartment and watched some television shows. Why am I telling you this story?? Well, there is a purpose. I promise. :) My sisters friend Heather asked a really super random question. Pretty much she asked if we thought that our spirits looked like our bodies do.

This is where the 'brain pains' come in. For any of you that have been, will be, or know of Seminary/Institute classes. And if that is true, then you know that if you get a large group of LDS people in one room, there are bound to be many questions. Some of which will get the whole class frustrated. Not because they are dumb questions, but because they are hard questions. This is because our mortal beings can't grasp the understanding of most things. For example, there is NO beginning... how in the HECK does that work?? It doesn't!.. not in our eyes anyway.

So when she asked this question. I began to think that it was one that for me to even come up with a decision was impossible. But then I began to think about how the scriptures say that we are going to be how we are now in the Celestial Kingdom. Basically saying that you'll always be what you always were. But to me, that in an eternal cycle! So you'll always be what you always are. And you always are what you always were. So then my thoughts began to think about the resurrection. If we are going to look like we do now, then why wouldn't we look now like we used to when we were just spirits. So my answer to that question would be yes. But also at the same time, i'm no prophet. So i guess I wouldn't know.

Onto a different not. I am currently writing this blog post from a city outside of my own. I am currently in Logan, Utah. Why? because I am visiting my bff Kim. :) Me and Alex Harris drove up here. It was quite the adventure coming up. It has been pretty foggy lately, so once we got to Sardine Canyon... yikes. You could see the road infront of you for maybe half a mile. More in some places depending on the height of the Mountains on either Side of you. I found it interesting that Me, driving into this fog is very similar to life. My life is just one big drive into the hazzy unknown. I guess it's a good thing that I have been blessed with many tools in my life to help get me there.

Well.. seeing as it is 2 in the morning. I suppose that I should make this one short. One of these days I will have an awesome adventure to post on here.

But for now, Good Night! And hope that you always feel the Spirit in your life, even if it makes your brain hurt.

My Peaceful Place. :)

My brother taught Gospel Principles today. I always enjoy hearing him talk. I don't know that i'm sure why. Maybe it's because he's kinda a man of few words. Or maybe it's because he's amazing, This i'm not sure. But his lesson was on the Gift of the Holy Ghost. I can't quite remember where this fit into the lesson. But he said this.

Imagine a place that would be absolutely peaceful and perfect, just for you.

Now Imagine the Savior sitting Next to You in that very spot.

Now, What one question would you ask him? Ask him it.

Now, listen for your answer.

It's pretty amazing how things like this work. You just have to imagine something for it to work. I guess that make sense though. Considering that we imagine our Father in Heaven and Jesus Christ sitting next to us when we pray.

My answer.

Sitting on the Side of lake Smith and Morehouse, just sitting. Watching the stars in the Uinta night air. :) All alone, but safely alone, so it's peaceful, and perfectly quiet. :)

Why does my Spiritual Gift cause me heartache.

My answer from him is too personal to share. But there is one thing for sure. I understand it now. :)

Thanks For the Answer.. :)

I have been pondering a very important question. One that I sought help from from my parents and an old Seminary Teacher. After going to Institute(which, i don't know why I put these things off, I LOVE institute. I'm not gonna wait three weeks next time.) :) I felt that I probably had my answer. After praying last night, I began to read my scriptures. :) And 2 Nephi 22:2. Thank You for being my answer. I have always heard that if you want to talk to Heavenly Father that you should pray, And that if you want Him to talk back you should read your scriptures. Not in a negative way or anything, but i'd never really fully understood or believed this. But now.. :) I do. Thank you for my answer. :)

Things to be Proud of..

I'd like to think that I can take some pretty decent pictures. Compared to one of my Best Friends, This is a lie. But these are some pictures that I am actually quite proud of. :)

Some of these are in Seattle, Washington. While others are in New York City, New York. :)
I hope you enjoy! :)

6th Quote of the Rainy Days!... :)

"Life is hard, But we can do hard things" Katherine Toone.

Oh, Pamela! :)(the nickname for sister toone) How much I enjoyed her lesson! :) She is a member of my YSA Relief Society Presidency. And she is AWESOME! :) I think that Relief Society is what has kept me going in the singles ward. But anyway. She started off her lesson talking about how there are over 75000 different types of Apples. They all have a general same purpose, but they are all different in their own special way. :) She related these apples to testimonies, that we grow from little seeds, all the way until we are shared to others in a nice, warm apple pie. :)

And then she said this quote. I think that the next time I think about life and how hard it is, i'm going to remember "Life is hard, But we can do hard things!" Because we can, and if there ever is a moment where you feel like you cant, the Lord will help you until you can. :)

You Get What You Pay For...

Well if thats true, then I totally wanna work some stuff around. :)

I went and visited an old Seminary teacher yesterday. I just wanted to talk to him for a few minutes. Ask his opinion on some things that I'd received opinion from many other people on. I don't know why many times in my life that I feel that I need a thousand opinions before I can make a decision. It's a fault of mine apparently.

This seminary teacher is really funny and sarcastic, he kindof has a personality like me. :) So when I told him I wanted to talk to him he said "Remember, You get what you pay for, and it's free.. so." I laughed and asked his opinion. And I am SO glad that I went and talked to him. Although I'd received many words of advice before, something that he said made it that much different. Maybe it was the situation that I was in, maybe it's because I went there to talk to him for one reason. But either way, as I told him, If i get what I pay for, then I owe him about a couple grand! :)

How I wish I got what I paid for in college!~~ man.. I get really frustrated sitting through class that I don't fee like I learn anything in. Isn't that the worst??

Well.. at least sometimes I get more than what I pay for. Thank You all old and new friends that gave me well more than what i deserved! :)

Back to Lack of Sleep

So I started college again on January 3,2011. I though I was relieved at first because then I was back into the swing of things, after two weeks, I am also exhausted. Those 7:30 classes are killing me!

Anyway, So I am taking English 1010 (blah) Social Work 2100 ( :] ) Earthquakes and Volcanoes (blah) and TBE 1700 (blah). So as you can see, for the most part I am not having the best class. But here are the pluses, My teacher in english is crazy, which makes it more enjoyable. Although I do not enjoy writing essays, his topics are more interesting, such as right now our topic is a moment in our life that made us who we were today. Awesome huh? .. Plus. I learned how to write like this in like 4th grade :p Now Social Work, i just enjoy those classes. :) Earthquakes and Volcanoes i have with My brother and a girl that lives by me :) haha so we make sarcastic comments which makes it better. :) And in TBE i have made a friend in which I correct the teacher often to.

So there is my fill in for the week. My classes are going fine, I am learning enough. :) and I may have an idea of where I am going to go towards in my career. .. just maybe. :)
