Girl's Just Wanna Have Fun. :)

So, i know that this has been the most random/churchy few posts ever! But what can I say, this is my blog of randomness! :) Last night as me and Melissa were discussing why it is that the Sunday School Presidency is men. I can to this conclusion, I had learned this once before but it truly hit me last night. Being a woman is Amazing. And such a divine calling. For Reals, think about it!

I just hear girls all the time saying guys get it all. I agree like physically they have it way easier than we do. And sure they have the Priesthood, which would be such an amazing gift. But like, I think it is such a diving calling to be a woman, and i wish others would see that too.

Can you imagine what the spirit is going to feel like when you give birth to a child. It's so pure, so innocent! And just left our Heavenly Father! We as women bring life to this world. We are so empathetic. We are highly favored by our Heavenly Father. More women receive salvation than men. Really when you put it all together it's so amazing!

This may be kinda odd, but I LOVE to read talks by the general authorities on Womanhood. They view us so highly and I just love to hear what they have to say. I Love a talk by President James E. Faust. It is titled Womanhood:The Highest Place of Honor.

He Says:

"The true spirit of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints gives to woman the highest place of honor in human life. To maintain and to merit this high dignity she must possess those virtues which have always, and which will ever, demand the respect and love of mankind... [because] 'a beautiful and chaste woman is the perfect workmanship of God."

Did you hear that?? PERFECT WORKMANSHIP OF GOD! In His eyes, we are perfect! If we will do everything that we know we are supposed to do we will be viewed as The Highest Place of Honor.

He also goes on to say this.

"I wonder if you sisters fully understand the greatness of your gifts and talents and how all of you can achieve the "highest place of honor" in the Church and in the world. One of your unique, precious, and sublime gifts is your femininity, with it's natural grace, goodness, and divinity. Femininity is not just lipstick, stylish hairdos, and trendy clothes. It is the divine adornment of humanity. It finds expression in your qualities of your capacity to love, your spirituality, delicacy, radiance, sensitivity, creativity, charm, graciousness, gentleness, dignity, and quiet strength. It is manifest differently in each girl or woman, but each of you possesses it. Femininity is part of your inner beauty."

Okay, holy cow! is that not amazing? He just used like a gbajillion words to tell us why we are awesome! Just look at all those qualities that Heavenly Father has given us as women. I'm sure there are men out there that would KILL to have charm, and we get it.. just like that . I am SO grateful to be a woman.President Faust words it best, so i will just use his "We will all have peace in our hearts and a knowledge of our true identity when we know 'who we are and what God expects us to be.'" President Faust closed his talk by saying this.

"My dear young sisters, your future is bright. It can exceed your fondest dreams and expectations. No everything that happens in your life will be as you have hoped and have planned. But if you live so as to know the Lord's will, you will find peace in your soul and great happiness. You will be among those who will enjoy "the highest place of honor in human life.""

Well.. I don't know about you, but i DEFINITELY want to be placed with those women. I Love being a woman. I can't wait for the moment when i get to rock my baby to sleep. I can't wait to kiss a knee all better. and I can't wait to be in the highest honor in human life. :)
